Maranguka was proud to have supported the Bourke Show, including the spectacular fireworks display that left everyone in awe at the end of a successful day.

“Maranguka understands the significance of the Bourke Show in our Community’s calendar. We also recognised the financial and cost of living challenges many are facing, we offered free entry to anyone who completed a Maranguka community engagement survey. The insights and commentary collected will be instrumental in continuing Community led informed shared decision-making to the benefit of all,” said Alister Ferguson, Maranguka Executive Director.

In addition to the wide array of activities, Maranguka teamed up with RU OK?, Catholic Care, and the Marathon Mental Health and Headspace Mental Health Awareness campaigns to provide information to reduce the risk of suicide throughout remote Communities.

The support by the Maranguka team delivered a record-breaking attendance for Show Day and we look forward to providing support again in 2026.
